We carry both text and binary newsgroups. Even our free users get full access to the binary newsgroups. If you know of a newsgroup that we don't currently carry just send us an email requesting it. Although we carry over 80 thousand groups, the number of groups a server carries should not be used to judge it's quality. A large number of groups are empty groups that were created as a joke or by mistake. The only real way test a server is to use it.
